[VOID]

Privacy Policy

Effective Date:

Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to the VOID app (hereafter, the "Application") for mobile devices. The Application is developed by Mikhail Bukhrashvili (the "Service Provider") and is offered as a freemium service with optional in-app purchases and subscriptions. VOID delivers local text encryption and decryption and is intended for use "AS IS".

Information Collection and Use

The Application runs completely offline and does not create accounts, require registration, or transmit data to external servers. It does not collect, log, or store personal information, analytics, device identifiers, or location data. All plaintext, ciphertext, encryption keys, and derived values remain on your device and are never backed up by the Application.

Payments for optional features are processed by the mobile platform’s billing system (such as the App Store or Google Play). The Service Provider does not receive or retain your payment credentials; platform providers may process limited transaction data under their own privacy policies.

Third Party Access

The Application does not embed advertising, analytics SDKs, crash reporters, or other tracking tools. No information is shared with third parties except through app marketplace services that surface purchases or subscriptions at your request. The Service Provider discloses information only when legally required or to protect rights, safety, or investigate misuse.

Opt-Out Rights

You can stop all offline processing by uninstalling the Application. Removal can be performed using the standard uninstall process provided by your device or the applicable app marketplace.

Data Retention Policy

The Application does not retain user data on external servers and does not generate automatic backups. Aside from user-selected preferences (theme, sound, and vibration settings), no information is stored in the Application’s local storage. Only your theme, sound, and vibration choices persist locally. Any encrypted content you handle stays in memory only for the duration of your session unless you manually save it elsewhere.

Children

The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Because VOID functions offline and does not request personal details, no data about children is gathered. Users under 16 should only use the Application with parental or guardian supervision. If you believe a child has provided information through external communications, please contact the Service Provider to request removal.

Security

The Application relies on device-level protections and industry-standard cryptography (including AES-256 and Argon2 for key derivation). Since all operations occur locally and no backups are created, the primary security considerations relate to safeguarding your device, operating system, and any exports you choose to make.

Changes

This Privacy Policy may be revised from time to time. Updates will be posted within the Application or distributed through release notes. Continued use of the Application after publication of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
